Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Visited ACC

On 11 May 2013, H.E. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, led a group of sixty-personnel delegation, consisting of high-level officials from 7 Ministries and Pprovinces, to visit the ASEAN-China Centre. Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang gave an detailed introduction on the development and tasks of the ACC, as well as its working and personnel structure. He made an emphasis on the activities such as the investment fair of Vietnam, the commercial tour to Vietnam, ASEAN products sales centre in Yiwu, scholarships for Vietnamese students, etc. Secretary-General Ma also reported the upcoming projects, including a multi-media exhibition on charming Vietnam and leading a group of CCTV crew to shoot tourism documentary in Vietnam.

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister H.E. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nhan praised highly of ACC's contribution to promote ASEAN-China relations as well as Vietnam-China relations. He instructed the Tourism Ministry, the Investment Ministry and the Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing to further enhance coordination with  the ACC and to make full use of the platform of ACC so as to bring new development for Vietnam-China friendly relations as well as ASEAN-China Strategic Partnership.
