From 2 to 6 September 2013, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre Mr. Ma Mingqiang led the ACC delegation to attend the 10th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

It was the first time for ACC to set up an independent booth at the CAEXPO, in which ACC gave a detailed introduction of its roles, development and activities through photos, video presentation, brochures, newsletters and booklets and had active interaction with thousands of Chinese and ASEAN visitors. Throughout these five-day CAEXPO, it was estimated that more than 5,000 people had visited ACC booth. CAEXPO proves a very useful platform for ACC to reach out to the people at large.

ASEAN and China have worked closely together and reaped fruits over the past 10 years. ASEAN and China will continue to enhance their great cooperation and connectivity so as to bring about further development and bright future of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) with more business opportunities and networking.

Among the 4,600 exhibition booths on offer, 1,294 booths were booked by ASEAN businesses. The next CAEXPO will be held in 2014 and Singapore will be the Country of Honor.
