ACC Held Trade Fair for Indonesia and Chinese Businesses

On 29 October 2013, Deputy Mayor of Ternate City, North Maluku Province of Indonesia, paid a visit to ASEAN-China Centre. ACC Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang met with the delegation. The two sides exchanged views on issues such as promoting bilateral trade, enhancing Chinese investment and attracting more Chinese tourists to Indonesia. Afterwards, the delegation held talks with Chinese entrepreneurs at ACC.

Located in North Maluku Province, Ternate owns rich fishery and tourism resources. The main purpose of the visit to China was to give special publicity to diving tourism, fishery and processing industry in Ternate. Deputy Mayor of Ternate hoped that more Chinese tourists would travel to Ternate, and more Chinese companies could invest in the city.

Chinese representatives from Beijing IWHR Corporation, Beijing Agriculture Development Fund, Chinese Enterprises Promotion Association, Deep Magazine, and Shandong Taixiang Group attended the fair and held discussion with the delegation. Dozens of cooperation intention were reached during the fair.
