Vietnam to send 3,000 teachers abroad for higher education in 2014-2015

HANOI, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam is planning to send 3,000 teachers and lecturers abroad for higher education during the 2014- 2015 period, said a decision released here on the country's government website Thursday.

 

The government also planned to build infrastructure for university education facilities, placing high priorities on improving infrastructure to meet international and regional standards, according to the decision.

 

The decision, signed by the country's prime minister, said Vietnam is expected to establish five vocational training colleges that meet international standards in the 2016-2020 period.

 

The first three universities planned to be built include Vietnam-Germany University, Hanoi Science and Technology University and Vietnam-Russia Technology University, said the decision.
