On 23 March 2015, the 12th Foreign Aid Conference to Developing Countries, organized by the Ministry of Education (MOE), China, undertook by China Agriculture University, was held in Beijing. Over 100 Chinese universities, relevant organizations and enterprises participated in the conference. Education officer of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) was one of the participants and made a remark in the conference.
The conference consists of 5 subjects, altogether 24 representatives delivered speeches around the themes of innovating the construction of network, jointly developing education foreign aid work with companies and social organizations, “go out” and make cooperative school-running with developing countries, do 20 plus 20 cooperation programme between China and Africa, as well as China-ASEAN education training centre programme.
Ms. Sun Xuejing, Education Officer of ACC briefed ACC’s efforts in promoting cooperation and exchanges in education between ASEAN and China, shared working experience and achievements with other participants. The officer in Charge of international Department of MOE, China commended ACC for its achievements, especially its three networks in the field of education cooperation between ASEAN and China. During the conference, Ms. Sun Xuejing expressed her appreciation to Chinese universities and organizations for their support and willingness to continue to deepen cooperation, jointly promote functional exchange and cooperation in education between China and ASEAN.
