On 10 August 2018, H.E. Mr. Hu Zhengyue, Vice President of China Public Diplomacy Association (CPDA) and China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) paid a visit to ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), and exchanged views with H.E. Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ACC, on cooperation in relevant areas. Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Director of Trade and Investment Division of ACC was present at the meeting.
Vice President Hu Zhengyue congratulated Secretary-General Chen Dehai on his assumption of office, and positively commended ACC on its achievements in promoting friendly exchanges between ASEAN countries and China. He said that ACC is an important platform for promoting ASEAN-China cooperation, and hoped that ACC could further play its role to expand practical cooperation in the areas of economy and trade, culture and tourism between ASEAN countries and China.
Secretary-General Chen Dehai appreciated CPDA and CSCLF for the support to ACC’s work, and stated that with the ever-deepening ASEAN-China relations, practical cooperation in various areas between ASEAN countries and China is facing new opportunities. ACC will continuously play its role as a bridge and link to strengthen communication and coordination with relevant parties and deepen bilateral friendly cooperation, so as to jointly make active contribution to the all-round development of ASEAN-China relations.
