Mr. Guo Chuanwei said that, the “Belt & Road Initiative” proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013 opened a new chapter for ASEAN-China cooperation, and has received positive response from more and more countries. The initiative has become China's approach to engage in global cooperation, improve the global economic governance and promote global common development and prosperity as well as the building of a community of shared future for mankind. Over the past five years, through the efforts of implementing the “Belt and Road Initiative”, China has enhanced its trade and investment liberalization and facilitation level, and widened the room of opening-up from the coastal areas to the inland areas, forming a new landscape of openness that links lands and sea and east and west. He briefed the young entrepreneurs on ASEAN-China economic and trade cooperation and the latest development of the Southern Transport Corridor and suggested the participants to make the best of such platforms as China-ASEAN Expo, China International Import Expo, etc. to actively participate in the building of “B&R”, China-ASEAN connectivity and industrial capacity investment cooperation.

From 27 to 28 September, a field trip was organized to historic and cultural sites, cross-border trade ports, fruits and cold-chain logistics development and other important projects in Fangchenggang, and business matching was held accordingly.
