From 28 to 30 September 2018, the 16th China International Grain and Oil Products and Equipment Technology Exhibition was held in Changsha. Mr. Han Weijiang, member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Deputy Director General of China Grain and Reserves Administration, Mr. Ren Zhi, Vice Chairman of China Grain Industry Association, Mr. Gao Tiesheng, the former Director General of State Administration of Grain, Mr. Zhang Yixian, Party Secretary and Director General of Hunan Provincial Grain Bureau attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Guo Chuanwei, Director of Trade and Investment Division of ASEAN-China Centre attended upon invitation.
There were altogether 408 domestic and overseas enterprises participating in the Fair. The exhibition covered an area of 380,000 square meters, accommodating 1460 standard booths, and the special equipped booths increased by 83.4%. In addition, 2018 Rice Industry Development Seminar was also held, where the invited specialists discussed on hot issues including high quality rice production and product marketing model.
