On 23 October 2018, a new media delegation composed of 18 members from Thailand-China Journalist Association visited the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC). The delegation was visiting China upon invitation by China International Publishing Group and China Report Press and recommendation by Chinese Embassy in Thailand.
Official of Information and Public Relations Division of ACC received the delegation, and briefed on ACC’s mandate and work in 2018, which was followed by a Q & A session. The delegation also toured ACC exhibition hall, which increased their understanding of ACC.
The year 2019 marks the ASEAN-China Year of Media Exchanges, which coincides with Thailand’s rotating chairmanship of ASEAN. Both sides agreed to take the opportunity to strengthen mutual communication, exchanges and cooperation so as to jointly promote the in-depth development of Thailand-China and ASEAN-China relations.
