On 4 December 2018, Mr. Hang Yuanxiang, Vice Chairman of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), visited the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC)and exchanged views with Secretary-General Chen Dehai on cooperation issues in related fields. Ms. Wang Hongliu, Director of General Affairs and Coordination Division, Ms. Zhou Hui, Deputy Director of Education, Culture and Tourism Division, and Mr. Wang Zhiquan, Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations Division were present at the meeting.
Vice Chairman Hang Yuanxiang thanked ACC for its support to the work of CSCLF. In 2018, the two sides co-organized a series of meaningful activities such as the 2018 "Soong Ching Ling Cup" China-ASEAN Youth Football Friendly Matches and the ASEAN-China Exhibition of Children’s Books. He hoped that the two sides would jointly promote China-ASEAN exchanges and cooperation in youth exchanges, culture, education and sports in the future.
Secretary-General Chen Dehai welcomed Vice Chairman Hang Yuanxiang and thanked CSCLF for its long-standing support to ACC. He stated that the practical cooperation between ASEAN countries and China in various fields is facing new opportunities. ACC would continue to play its role as a bridge and link, strengthen communication and collaboration with CSCLF and make positive contributions to the comprehensive development of ASEAN-China relations.
