On 14 May 2019, ACC Secretary-General Chen Dehai met with Dr. AKP Mochtan, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN, and Ms. Adeline Lee, Director of Office of the Secretary-General in ASEAN Secretariat.
Mr. Chen Dehai expressed appreciation to Dr. Mochtan for attending the 2019 ASEAN-China Media Cooperation Forum and the long-term support of ASEAN to ACC. He said that ACC will continue to enhance exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN Secretariat.
Dr. Mochtan congratulated on the success of 2019 ASEAN-China Media Cooperation Forum and spoke highly of the contributions of ACC in co-hosting the Forum. He said that ACC has been making great efforts to expand areas of cooperation since its inception, and its achievement has been fully recognized by all sides. In line with ASEAN-China Year of Media Exchanges, ACC is committed to promoting exchanges and practical cooperation between ASEAN and China through a variety of activities. ASEAN Secretariat would continue to support ACC to play a bigger role in this aspect.
