On 20 September 2019, Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), visited the Exhibition of ASEAN-China Media Cooperation Achievements in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and exchanged views on the organization of activities echoingASEAN-China Year of Media Exchanges and further deepening ASEAN-China media cooperation with Ms. Ma Li, DirectorGeneral of International Cooperation Department, National Radio and Television Administration of China (NRTA) and Ms. Zhang Hong, DirectorGeneral of Radio and Television Administration of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
This exhibition was an important part of the 1st ASEAN-China TV Week. The TV Week was co-sponsoredby NRTA, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Government and ACC, with the theme of “sharing new opportunities for TV development under BRI”. Held from 18 to 24 September 2019 in Nanning city, the event was composed of some major activities including the Opening Ceremony and ASEAN-China Concert of Hit Movie and TV Songs, Special Thematic Session for the ASEAN-China Year of Media Exchanges at the Opening Ceremony of the 16th CAEXPO, Exhibition of ASEAN-China Media Cooperation Achievements, broadcasting of ASEAN-China TV shows as well as ASEAN-China Radio, Television and New Media Forum.
