ACC Secretary-General Chen Dehai Attended the Opening Ceremony of 2020 Qinghai Eco (Industrial) Expo

On the morning of 6 September 2020, the Qinghai Eco (Industry) Expo was held in Xining, Qinghai Province. Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), attend the opening ceremony.
 
Mr. Wang Jianjun, Secretary of Qinghai Provincial Committee of the CPC, Mr. Xin Changxing, Governor of Qinghai Province, Mr. Chen Jian'an, Vice President of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Mr. Fernando Lugris, Ambassador of Uruguay to China, Mr. Arthayudh Srisamoot, Ambassador of Thailand to China, Mr. Jean Lois Robinson Richard, Ambassador of Madagascar to China together with other guests launched the Expo.
 
Governor Xin Changxing said that in recent years, Qinghai Province has firmly established the concept of “lucid water and lush mountains are valuable assets”, and done its best to enhance ecological protection and restoration. By combining ecological environment with industrial development, Qinghai has accelerated the green transformation and achieved ecological benefits for the people. Qinghai will take the Expo as an opportunity to improve the level of opening-up, optimize the business environment, strengthen practical cooperation, and make new contributions to building a beautiful China, global ecological security and the community with a shared future for mankind.
Diplomatic envoys from Argentina, Canada, Chile, Japan, Kenya, South Korea, Myanmar, Pakistan, Rwanda and Serbia attended the opening ceremony and toured the Expo.
 
With the theme of "Co-building Ecological Civilization and Sharing Development Achievements", the Expo sets up four sections including ecological economy, ecological culture, international carpets and trade products exhibition, covering an area of more than 40000 square meters.
