“Month of ASEAN Culture and Tourism”Activity Launched in Beijing

On 11 April 2021, the activity of “Month of ASEAN Culture and Tourism” organized by the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) was launched at Yonghe Book Yard in Beijing. The representatives from publishing houses, media, academic institutes and travel agents attended the launching ceremony. The representative of ACC presented the main cultural and tourism resources of ASEAN, ASEAN-China people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in recent years. Three experts gave lectures on Buddhist heritage in the ASEAN Member States (AMS), such as Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand. The ASEAN silverware was also an interesting topic at the activity.    

At the Book Yard, one specially-designed book stall has been set up to display ASEAN Travel Routes, Newsletters, Annual Reports printed by ACC and other related books focusing on ASEAN. The “Month of ASEAN Culture and Tourism” will last until mid-May, 2021.
