The 12th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition Opened

On 8 September 2021, the 12th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition opened in Guangrao, a county of Dongying City, Shandong Province. Mr. Chen Bichang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Dongying Municipal Committee and Mayor of Dongying, attended the opening ceremony. Mr. Zhang Shenfeng, Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Mr. Luis Diego Monsalve, Ambassador of Colombia to China, Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), Mr. Sittikorn Chantadansuwan, Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Thailand in China, together with other guests from China and abroad addressed the event via video.

Mr. Zhang Shenfeng said China is the world’s largest tire producer and rubber consumer, and relevant industries boast great development potential. China will adhere to the opening-up, broaden  the scope of cooperation, share opportunities for development, and work with other countries to promote the recovery and growth of the world economy.

Mr. Chen Dehai expressed that ASEAN-China cooperation continues to develop steadily, showing great resilience and potential. Such exhibition could overcome negative impacts of the epidemic and build a high-level platform for international exchanges, which will help Guangrao and Shandong Province to further develop their unique advantages and deepen pragamatic cooperation with ASEAN countries. 

According to Mr. Sittikorn Chantadansuwan, car makers in Thailand and China have a solid cooperation foundation. They have built the long-term strategic partnership in the rubber tire research and development. Strengthening cooperation in industries of rubber tire and automobile accessory serves to promote practical cooperation and growth of business between both sides.

This exhibition was co-hosted by CCPIT and the People’s Government of Shandong Province. With the theme of “Build Renowned Brands for a Win-win Prospect”, the event consisted of the opening ceremony, overseas promotions of tires and auto parts, online exhibitions, live-streaming promotions and forums. Over 700 Chinese and overseas exhibitors participated in the online exhibitions.
