ACC Secretary-General Chen Dehai Sent Congratulatory Message to the 2022 Silk Road Carnival and Silk Road Spring Festival Gala

        On 1 February 2022, the day of the Chinese Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger, the 2022 Silk Road Carnival and Silk Road Spring Festival Gala (hereinafter referred to as “2022 Silk Road Gala”) premiered. Produced by Shaanxi Media Convergence (SMC) under the theme of “Silk Road Dreams·Harmony of Diversity”, the gala showed the hard endeavor, creative strength and development results of the Chinese people from various perspectives, and presented diverse cultures in the world. 

Ambassadors of ASEAN Member States (AMS) to China, including Brunei, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Thailand, and Mr. Chen Dehai, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), delivered congratulatory messages via video at the gala, extending Spring Festival greetings to Chinese people in China and across the world.

The 2022 Silk Road Gala, supported by ACC, was jointly organised by the SMC, China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC) and Phoenix Satellite TV under the guidance of the State Council Information Office and the National Radio and Television Administration of China. The gala was broadcast by Shaanxi Satellite TV, Phoenix Satellite TV, Shenzhen Satellite TV and Hainan Satellite TV, as well as 12 overseas TV and media platforms in five continents during the Spring Festival holidays.
