2023 ASEAN-China Youth Exchange Week and Chengdu•Indonesia Culture Week - Film Festival Opened in Chengdu

On the morning of 14 March, the opening ceremony of the 2023 ASEAN-China Youth Exchange Week, co-hosted by Chengdu Municipal Government and the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) was successfully held in Chengdu Du Fu Thatched Cottage Museum. Under the theme of “Join Hands for a Shared Future”, the Exchange Week comprises of ASEAN-China Cultural Performance, ASEAN-China Fine Arts Joint Exhibition, Cloud Tour around Chengdu for ASEAN Youth Ambassadors, and experience of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. It seeks to enhance mutual learning and deepen the friendship between the youth of ASEAN Member States (AMS) and China. 

Chengdu•Indonesia Culture Week - Film Festival was opened at the College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts of Chengdu University on the afternoon of 14 March. Four Indonesian films will be presented to the audience during the event to promote Indonesia-China culture and art exchanges. 

H.E. Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ACC, H.E. Mr. Djauhari Oratmangun, Ambassador of Indonesia to China, Mrs. Elsiwi Oratmangun, wife of H.E. Mr. Oratmangun, Education and Culture Officials of the Embassies of Indonesia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam, as well as international students from AMS in China participated in the aforementioned events. Representatives also exchanged views with the Foreign Affairs Offices of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City, Chengdu University and Xihua University.
