On 31 October 2012, Secretary-General Ma Mingqiang of ASEAN-China Centre held a meeting with the chiefs of Shenzhen East Malaysia investment company, Malaysian KCB group and professional manager training centre of Tsinghua University.
Secretary-General Ma gave an introduction on the status of trade and investment between China and Malaysia, the development of ACC and the work that ACC completed to accelerate ASEAN-China cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, education, culture and tourism. Secretary-General Ma hoped that the investors could make joint efforts to promote business and people's communication between China and Malaysia and to create both economic and social effects. ACC is ready to support and provide service for China-Malaysia cooperation in various areas including trade and investment.
After the meeting, the investors made discussion on the cooperation of the business, tourism and technology projects in certain areas of Malaysia.
