IPRD Director of ACC Paid a Courtesy Call on Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea

On 28 March 2014, during the learning trip to ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) in Seoul, Ms. Lada Phumas, Director of Information and Public Relations Division (IPRD) of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Kulkumut Singhara Na Ayudhaya, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, at the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul.

Ms. Lada Phumas exchanged views on roles and activities of ACC during the past 2 years since its inception, outcomes of this meaningful learning trip by IPRD to AKC as well as experience and best practices of AKC gained during the trip. 

H.E. Ambassador Kulkumut Singhara Na Ayudhaya commended the achievements of ACC and AKC to promote mutual understanding and win-win cooperation between ASEAN and China as well as ASEAN and Korea respectively. In particular, H.E. Ambassador Kulkumut, from his two-month experience after his assumption of the Ambassadorial post in the ROK, spoke highly of AKC in its various PR activities to reach out to the general public, students, business entity as well as the Embassies of ASEAN Member States in Seoul, which have helped raise profile of ASEAN in Korea. 

H.E. Ambassador Kulkumut expressed his commitment to continue active engagement with AKC. He also looked forward to further PR achievements of ACC through the Thai representative currently working at ACC.
