ACC Attended the Preparatory Meeting of the 23nd China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair

On 8 December 2016, Mr. Li Yuan, Director of Trade and Investment Division of ACC, attended the preparatory meeting of the 23rd Lanzhou Fair of 2017 in Lanzhou, Gansu province.

The meeting was hosted by Mr. Li Shumin, Director of the Gansu Economic Cooperation Bureau and Director of the Lanzhou Fair Office. Mr. Li Shumin noted that the 23rd Lanzhou Fair will help to expand and accelerate economic and trade cooperation among cities, provinces, countries, and  regions along the Road and the Belt route. Meanwhile, it will also help them to comprehend each other, deepen friendship, as well as accelerate development.

Director Li Yuan concluded the results of the exhibition area coordinated by ACC during the 2016 Lanzhou Fair and spoke of the achievements made by ACC in holding the China-ASEAN Economic Cooperation Lanzhou Forum. He also made suggestions on the 2017 Lanzhou Fair. During his visit to Lanzhou, Director Li Yuan paid a visit to Mr. Li Rongcan, Party Secretary of the Lanzhou Municipal Government to thank his supports extended to ACC and expressed ACC’s willingness in deepening cooperation with Lanzhou City.

Under the approval of the State Council, the 2017 Fair will be held in Lanzhou, Gansu Province from 6 to 9 July 2017 and will be co-hosted by Gansu Municipal Government and six line ministries, namely, Ministry of Commerce, State Administration for Industry & Commerce, Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
