SEAMEO Centre Directors Meeting (CDM) was held from 17 to 19 July 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand. SEAMEO Secretary-General Dr Gatot Hari Priowirjanto, directors of 26 affiliated centres and representatives of SEAMEO partners attended the event among over 80 participants. Ms. Zhou Hui, Deputy Director of Education, Culture and Tourism Division of ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), addressed the CDM.
During the CDM, SEAMEO Secretariat and representatives of the affiliated centres elaborated on their programs in 2019 respectively. Ms. Zhou Hui gave a presentation on ACC’s mandates and major activities in education. She also held in-depth discussions and reached preliminary agreement for further collaboration with 7 SEAMEO centres, including RIHED (Regional Centre for Higher Education and Development), TROPMED (Regional Tropical Medicine and Public Health Network), VOCTECH (Regional Centre for Vocational and Technical Education), RETRAC (Regional Training Centre), CECCEP (Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting) and etc.
