Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Nong Rong Visited ACC

On 15 February 2023, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Nong Rong visited the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC). H.E. Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ACC welcomed Assistant Minister Nong Rong and had a meeting with him. 

Secretary General Shi briefed on the achievements by the ACC in recent years to promote the all-round and multi-tiered cooperation covering wide-ranging areas between ASEAN and China, and noted that as an inter-governmental organisation, the ACC will earnestly implement the important consensus reached between ASEAN and Chinese leaders, and make new contributions to the continuous growth of ASEAN-China comprehensive strategic partnership.

Assistant Minister Nong Rong said that since its establishment, the ACC has been actively implementing the consensus between the leaders and playing an active role in promoting exchanges and cooperation between the two sides in various areas. As the host country, China will, as always, fully support the work of the ACC, so as to build a bridge of communication for China-ASEAN cooperation and further promote the development of China-ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership.
