The ACC Attends 2023 China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibition

On 13-15 October, the 2023 China-ASEAN Expo Tourism Exhibition, co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, was successfully held in Guilin, Guangxi. Lu Yingchuan, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, Zhou Jiabin, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Secretary of the Guilin Municipal CPC Committee, and Miao Qingwang, Vice Chairman of the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. The ACC supported this exhibition. Director Hadi Tjahjono of the Education, Culture, and Tourism Division attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech at the China-ASEAN Tourism and Leisure Industry Development, Integration & Innovation Forum.

The Exhibition attracted a total of 37 foreign countries, including 10 ASEAN Member States, with Malaysia as the Country of Honor. A total of 23 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities of China participated in the event, with Shanxi Province as the themed province. The Exhibition covered an area of 50,000 square meters, which made a record in its scale.
