The ACC Attends ASEAN Tourism Forum 2024

The ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) was held in Vientiane, Laos from 22 to 27 January 2024. Delegates from ASEAN Plus Three, the ASEAN Secretariat, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), the ASEAN-Japan Centre (AJC), the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC) and other international tourism organizations attended the meeting. The delegates shared their understandings and best practices, and introduced work plans to promote sustainable development of the regional tourism.

Director Hadi Tjahjono of Education, Culture and Tourism Division of the ACC made presentations at the 44th Meeting of ASEAN Plus Three NTOs and the 23rd Meeting of ASEAN Plus Three Tourism Ministers, to introduce the ACC’s major tourism activities and achievements in the year 2023 as well as the work plan for the year 2024. The Ministers, NTOs and other tourism organizations appreciated the ACC’s sustained efforts in promoting ASEAN-China tourism cooperation, strengthening people-to-people connectivity, enhancing tourism capacity building in ASEAN Member States, and provided suggestions on future cooperation.
