SG Shi Zhongjun Attends the 14th China-Northeast Asia Expo and Visits Jilin Province

From 23 to 25 August 2023, H.E. Secretary General Shi Zhongjun of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) paid a visit to Jilin Province. SG Shi attended the opening ceremony of the 14th China-Northeast Asia Expo and the high-level forums on Northeast Asia cooperation upon invitation and visited the Modern Agriculture Pavilion and the Jilin Pavilion of the Expo in Changchun City. He also visited Changbai Mountain and Erdaobaihe town. The meetings with Zhang Enhui, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Changchun Municipal Committee, and Wang Tie, Deputy Director of the Jilin Changbai Mountain Protection Development Management Committee enabled SG Shi to have an in-depth cognition of Jilin’s resource superiority and characteristic industries. The two sides exchanged views on further strengthening communication and promoting the cooperation between ASEAN and Jilin Province in various areas.
